Horizontal asset management services consist of mapping, evaluating, and ranking the pavements, pipes, ponds and other infrastructure serving the property outside the building footprint. Sustainable Runoff Solutions can enter each horizontal asset into a mapping database (GIS). We then will link all relevant information about each asset including design plans, specifications, service dates, routine inspection forms, condition reports, photographs and maintenance records. This information will allow each asset on the property to be ranked on a scale of function. This ranking along with condition reports will help the owners and property managers be proactive with budgeting and planning for maintenance and repairs on each horizontal asset. Proactive repairs and maintenance is much more cost effective than reactive repairs due to failure.
